The school cooperates with Evangelical Lutheran Church Hong Kong, Social Work Service for Pre-primary Institutions of Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Service – Hong Kong (ELCSS-HK) to provide stationing social work services for parents, children, and staff.

ELCSS-HK, one of the largest NGOs in Hong Kong, was established in 1976. With an innovative, caring and people-oriented approach, we provide integrated services to the grassroots and the disadvantaged.

Through early identification, the child-centered and family-focused approach, the worker helps to create a positive and nurturing environment for children to achieve whole-person development. Stationing services cater to preschool: For children, the worker provides counseling services, and organizes developmental programs such as emotion groups, social skills groups, and identifies children’s needs, and makes referrals. For parents/ caregivers, the worker provides consultation and counseling services to strengthen positive parenting, organizes parenting programs and parent-child workshops, etc. For teachers, the worker provides consultation services and assists with crisis management. The school social worker Ms Esther will station at school on every Tuesday and Thursday.
